Theresa Lucas Peter  - Pre-School Teacher (Tanzanian)

Theresa was born and raised in Zanzibar. When asked why she wanted to be a teacher she said "my mother is a teacher and has run a school since I was young so it's just in my blood."
Theresa started working as a teacher at Bububu Montisori School in 2009 while she was still in secondary school. She came to work at KINS in March 2013 and has been a very valuable member of our staff. Her favorite activity to do with children is singing and we love hearing her voice every morning.

Rahma Msenga Mrisho - Nursery Teacher - (Tanzanian)

Rahma was born and raised in Zanzibar. Her long time love of children lead her  to become a teacher.
She came to us in May 2013 asking if we could help her learn and gain experience and she has proved to be a great asset to the school with her dagger attitude and teaching talent.
She has a 6 year old daughter Nassria who attends the school thanks to a generous sponsorship from a family in Italy. Rahma is happy to soon start a teacher training certification course in Stone Town.

Vivide Mantero - School Founder and Donations Manager (Italian)

Vivide founded KINS in 2010 in an effort to create a quality educational experience for her own daughter. Vivide envisioned a school community where local and expatriate children would feel safe and could come together to learn and play under the guidance of quality teachers. The dream was fully realized and the school continues to grow and thrive with Vivide’s original vision at its core. While no longer on the Island Vivide continues to assist the school by soliciting and managing the much needed donations that make our school possible.
